Frequently Asked Questions Q: How does Freylit’s reclaim system work to remove the dirt in the wash water? How effective is it? A: Freylit’s reclaim equipment removes dirt and cleans the wash water in four stages. Each stage removes more dirt until we pass back the clean well filtered wash water to the wash equipment. Our Filtration Process Chart can be downloaded from the brochure section and it itemizes these four steps clearly. Q: How does Freylit’s reclaim system work to degerm the wash water? How effective is it? A: Freylit’s reclaim equipment purifies or degerms the wash water in four stages. We do not, like many of our competitors, use ozone to degerm the water, because Freylit International was required and forced in the mid 90’s by the International Oil Companies in Europe to develop an alternative degerming method, as they had been experiencing serious degradation of rubber seals / flanges / components caused by the interaction of ozone on rubber and/or sensitive wash parts. Freylit’s four stages incorporate our proprietary "water stabilizer" and combined interlocking degerming system to provide a strong and adjustable system to ensure no odor in your wash. Our Degerming Process Chart can be downloaded from the brochure section and it itemizes these four steps clearly. Q: What types of chemicals are used to degerm the wash water? A: Freylit uses NO chemicals to degerm the wash water. We are totally environmentally friendly and use natural, tried and tested methods of degerming that do not use any harmful chemicals. Q: What is the cost of Freylit’s reclaim system? A: Systems are quoted in line with the water needs of the wash. A simple system for an occasional wand wash which incorporates both filtration and degerming starts at around $8,000, while our top of the line reclaim, processing 100 gallon per minute, would be just above $30,000. Q: How long does it take to install Freylit’s reclaim system? A: Our 50 gallon per minute reclaim system takes two full days to install and commission, when the wash site has been prepared. Retrofits might take longer depending on the number of existing lines to the underground tanks that are in place. Q: Who are your distributors? A: In many States we have distributors that interface between our clients and Freylit. Freylit has developed a wide network of distributors to provide more local hands on support. Please contact Freylit for your nearest distributor. PREVIOUS |
