The Freylit Recycling System functions totally automatically and consistently with minimum maintenance and can be programed to both top up the underground sedimentation water tanks when is needed, due to evaporation and drive off, or exit clean processed water in the event of heavy precipitation on the wash pad, if in a closed loop environment.

Wash Recycling Systems: The CORE of the Freylit Car Wash Reclaim System equipment is a range of various reclaim systems developed over decades of tough international field testing. With over 10,000 installations worldwide, it is a compact, robust, and well-tested system, while at the same time being environmentally friendly.
Odor Control: Freylit systems use NO corrosive Ozone, NO Chemicals, such as chlorine or hydrogen peroxide, NOR any Enzymes (bugs).
Closed Loop Systems: Freylit’s installations can also be “closed loop systems,” meaning ‘no water’ leaves the processing system, and all water is reprocessed and reused again in the application. This method of continuous recycling ensures excellent ‘Water Conservation’ and improves sustainability by saving the environment. Due to rapidly rising water costs, this can reduce wash operating costs for the operators and allow washes to be opened in locations that have NO sewer available.
Optional Equipment: In liaison with the client and based on the end quality of water needed, Freylit adds activated carbon filters, fine sedimentation 5 and 1 micron filters, and RO equipment. These options are typically incorporated when installing a closed-loop site.
Design / Technical Support: Integrated support for Architects and General Contractors in all stages of design and build-out, including underground tanks, chases to/from the equipment room, and utilities.
Reliability: Systems uptime exceeds 98%.
Maintenance: Exceptionally low monthly maintenance, typically under one hour, due to auto-cleaning filters.

To ensure that water being processed by the Freylit Reclaim System can be constantly reused, the used water has to be both “filtered and degermed” before reuse. Freylit has developed an interlocking series of processes to resolve this requirement. Below are two flow drawings of those two processes.
